Satellite TV Specials

For my birthday this year, my parents bought me a nice TV TV on Your PC my dorm area. The only problem I found was that I couldn't afford the cable monthly rate for high definition channels.

One of the most common e-mail scams today is called the "Nigerian Scam" (also known as the Nigerian Letter or 419 fraud). Although the Nigerian Scam comes TV on Your PC the country of Nigeria, forms of the scam have originated from other parts of Africa and Europe. Although the current form of the Nigerian Scam appears to have started in Nigeria during the 1970s, an early version called the "Spanish Prisoner Letter" has been around since the Middle Ages.

Normally, the scam begins with a letter, fax or e-mail, sent out by a family of a rich Nigerian political figure who is currently in prison or dead. The family cannot gain access to the "frozen account" that contains millions of dollars, but the money can be deposited into a foreign bank account. The family must Watch Television on PC foreigners willing to receive a portion of this money for safekeeping. In exchange for doing so, the recipient is able to keep up to 40% of the total investment. What Crap!

What's worse, is that these e-mail scams contain honest information about a real political figures death or imprisonment, making this scam seem legit. The second part of the classic Nigerian Scam begins when a "victim" gives his/her bank account number(s) to the sender in order to receive the money. From this point Watch TV on PC the Nigerian Scam artist will either use this information to clean out the victims Watch TV bank account or send a fake cashiers check as a partial payment. Either way... You Are Screwed!

I urge you to be extremely cautious when receiving these e-mails. NEVER give out your personal information (especially banking info) to a complete stranger, no matter what issues or problems he/she is facing. Because, in time, they may become YOUR problems!
